Options for a Little R&R
Mallorca is one of the islands of the Balearic Islands. It is easily the most popular of the islands and draws millions of visitors each year and they come from far and wide to experience the beaches and the nightlife the island has to offer.
The golden sands of the island are famous, and you’ll definitely need to plan your accommodations in Mallorca well in advance. Much like Barcelona and other cities, you have several options in regard to price as well and it’s really all about how much you want to spend.
Mallorca is well-known for its small country cottage accommodations. These are often located in the small villages of the island and can offer excellent beach access. Near Campos in the south east part of Mallorca, you’ll find Finca Sant Blai. This is a small of country finca that offers cottages and suites. You can easily access the beaches of Sa Rapita, Ses Salines, Calas e Mallorca and Es Trenc. The finca is surrounded by lush, landscaped gardens and is the perfect place for relaxation. The finca dates back to the 1800s and features four cottages and three suites. All are decorated with rustic and natural dcor, but provide all of the amenities you could want with a swimming pool, sun beds and parasols, wines, an observatory and a wide selection of Entertainment.
If you’re looking for all-inclusive hotels in Mallorca, then the Club Hotel Riu Romantica could be the one you’re looking for. Located on the Cala Romantica beach in Porto Cristo, this hotel features one and two-story bungalows as well as several rooms. Amenities include two swimming pools and a child’s pool, a playground, complimentary lounge chairs with umbrellas, Internet access, beach volleyball, mini-golf and more. This is a great option if you’re a family looking for excellent accommodations to keep everyone busy and happy.
Looking for something with an authentic feel that’s out of the way? The Sa Rota den Palerm is a countryside resort. The 18th century home has been carefully restored and is surrounded by a green landscape of pine trees. The grounds include two suites and five independent houses. They are all named after a Mallorcan word and have their own private terraces, full baths and private entrances. Each day breakfast is served and consists of homemade jams. Dinner is also available and the ingredients are fresh from the resorts own vegetable garden. Of course, you can also sample a variety of Mallorcan wines. This is a great family resort and even provides babysitting services when the adults need a night out.
Though most visit Mallorca to relax on the beaches, the nightlife here is hopping as well. Keep this in mind when choosing hotels and accommodations in Mallorca as it can dictate greatly where you may want to stay on the island. The south tends to party while the northern part of the island tends to be calmer and more relaxed.
